At the head of the title page” ‘Salter’s Edition’.

There is damage to the cover and spine. Inside front endpaper has pen annotation and indentation of another number which has been removed. Title page has pencil annotation that has been erased to the top, and pencil annotation of a name and address. Inside pages clean. Edges of pages tanned. Some foxing and tanning to final endpapers. A label for ‘R.S. Shearer’ is affixed to the back pastedown endpaper. Binding is not as tight as it was originally (see image 7 & 8). Please see photos.

Postage to a UK address is free. All items sent to a UK address are despatched within 24 hours Monday to Friday, and posted via the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service. This means that most items should arrive 2-3 working days of purchase, although this is not guaranteed.

Books and booklets are zero-rated for VAT purposes in the UK. This means that there is no VAT charged on the supply of books and booklets for UK customers.

European Union

All items sent to EU addresses are despatched within 24 hours Monday to Friday, and posted via the Royal Mail 'International Tracked' service, or Royal Mail 'Tracked and Signed for' for items over £100. Delivery times will vary.

TAX AND IMPORT DUTIES: Packages sent to EU addresses may incur import tax. Tax rates vary across EU countries, and customers will be charged the tax due to their government. A customs administrative payment may also be charged. Skylona has no control over any of these payments.

International, non-EU

All items sent to addresses outside the UK or EU are despatched within 24 hours Monday to Friday, and posted via the Royal Mail 'International Tracked', Royal Mail 'International Tracked and signed for', or Parcelforce Tracked service, depending on value, size and weight. Larger consignments may be sent via DHL. Delivery times will vary.

Protective packaging

Every item is wrapped in acid-free tissue and, for booklets and ephemera, a conservation-grade polyester archival pocket. Items are then double- or triple-packaged in rigid, fully-recyclable cardboard book wraps.

Returns

Skylona sells used, pre-owned items and therefore every item is imperfect and typically will show signs of wear. We take great care to accurately describe and photograph items, highlighting specific areas of damage or wear.
